Problem Definition
During this portion of the project, our goal was to understand what we were being asked to do by Cobham. Shortly after receiving our project we met with Hank and discussed what the project would cover. Next we had to find a faculty advisor. Since our project seemed to involve signal processing and noise injection, we decided to ask the signal processing professor here at NAU, Dr. Sheryl Howard. After having a grasp on the project and a faculty advisor we turned our attention toward research. Majority of the research done was on Verilog coding, the aurora protocol, and various GUI softwares.
