MATLAB Programming Language
Our project uses the MATLAB programming language for both front end and back end implementation for the following reasons:
- Advanced matrix operation support
- Binary and CSV file manipulation support
- Researcher knowledge of the software
MATLAB with WFDB
Our project uses MATLAB with the WFDB package since it provides a framework for the following:
- Different Fourier Transormations
- Wavelet Transformations
- Handling of header and annotation Physionet files
WEKA
We use the WEKA machine learning platform for:
- Feature Classification
- Feature Selection
- Accuracy Testing
- Alarm Decision Making
