Final Design

Our finished application is able to meet the desired location requirements asked of us for this project. These requirements being that our application is able to report our current location with reasonable accuracy within 15-30 feet at a sampling rate of once per second. Unfortunately, we were not able to establish communication between our mobile devices and our desktop command center. We were also not able to implement voice communication between our multiple users.

Our finished application successfully utilized the Android funions that users already own, simultaneously meeting our high mobility characteristic in order to satisfy our mechanical requirements and specifications. Developing our application for use on the Android platform also allowed us to fulfill our software specification and assisted in the design of our graphical user interface which met our software requirement wants. Finally, we were able to accomplish this while offering a reliable and seamless application experience.
