Enchiladas


Ingrediants

1 dozen tortillas
1 can (15 oz) tortilla sauce
1 pint sour cream
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Hamburger or steak, sliced
Half an onion, grated
Chopped or sliced green chiles if desired
Grated cheese (cheddar is good) about one third lb
Olive or light vegetable oil for frying

Directions

Heat tortilla sauce
Combine cornstarch with one tablespoon water and coat sliced steak with it
Fry cornstarch covered meat in a little oil and set aside
Fry tortillas lightly in oil so they are soft and dry each with paper towel
Dip tortillas one by one into tortillas sauce
Put sour cream on each tortilla and roll into cylinder
Line the cylinders up in container suitable for 400 degree oven
Put meat, onion and cheese on top
Put in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes

Eat
