Problem Definition
Milestones Reached
We asked the client what they wanted from us.
The nature of the problem was identified.
The requirements and specifications for the project were defined.
The requirements and specifications document was written and turned. in
Tradeoffs and Design Decisions
This phase mostly involved determining what we had to do for this
project. The requirements defines what tradeoffs might have to be made
in the future. For example, we might have to do a tradoff between
quality and price. The only design decisions that were made are what
the design needs to do.
Problems
There were issues with making sure everything in this stage was
consistent. The problem statement, and requirements and specifications
can not contradict each other. With four people working on them at
once, it got confusing at first. Once we communicated our work to each
other, we were able to do it well.
