Welcome to the SciKids project page. Our project is a gesture based engagement station for STEM recruiting in the k-12 grades. The purpose of the project is to encourage and support kids in the choice of STEM as a career choice. We will create an interactive interface that will show kids what opportunities are available and will provide fun games to engage young kids. For the older group, we plan to provide resources about interviews and resume tips. The main gestures that are involved with be dragging and dropping so kids will be able to move through the entire display. By targeting a large age group, kids will have a support structure as they progress in their career choice and prepare for a higher learning institution and eventually a job.
