Problem Description
THe problem that the client would liked addressed is the harmful greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide, which gets released into our atmosphere by commonly used combustion engines. Carbon dioxide can be broken down into harmless components, carbon and oxygen. The purpose of the project is to design a carbon dioxide breakdown device that can be retrofitted to cars. The device must be able to withstand standard automotive operation, be easily removable for servicing, rely on automotive power systems yet still be as least intrusive on electrical systems as possible.
