Treatment Train 1 is a Yavapai Concrete 1,000-gallon septic tank with a Zabel A-1800 Effluent Filter. A 1,000-gallon pump chamber equipped with a Hydromatic SW 25 Effluent Pump (1/4 hp, 115v) doses the disposal field. A liquid level sensor and the System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software control the pump operation.
The disposal field is made up of six independent trench technologies. Several of the trenches are constructed differently on each side of the manifold. The six trenches are each dosed separately of the others by a bank of solenoid valves that are controlled by the SCADA system. Only one solenoid valve will be open at a time.
The SCADA system gives us the ability to dose any one of the trenches with
any amount of effluent. We are also able to take one or more of the trenches
off line for any amount of time.
