Financial Information

Grand Canyon Semester runs in during Fall terms only. 

Course Fee: The Grand Canyon Semester has a course fee of $600 for the required course GCS 350 Managing Grand Canyon National Park, which includes a week of classes and outdoor experience at the Park as well as several days on the Colorado River.  The fee covers about half of the real costs; GCS covers the rest. This fee is billed with tuition in August

Tuition:  Is paid as usual to the office of the Bursar, Please visit the Official Website for tuition & fee amounts.

Housing: On campus housing ranges from $2064 to $2500 per semester.

Housing application fee (non-refundable): $100

*Please note*: These charges include all academic charges, housing, orientation, program activities, and all group travel and substantial field experiences during the semester.  The tuition and room fees are for the current 2008-09 year; exact amounts will be determined by the Arizona Board of Regents by April 2009.

Extra Costs: Transportation to and from Flagstaff, additional food, books, and incidental expenses are not included in these estimates. All charges are payable only if you are accepted as a participant in the Grand Canyon Semester, and are non-refundable except in extraordinary circumstances.

Non-Eligibility: The Grand Canyon Semester is not an eligible program for the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) or the National Student Exchange (NSE) tuition agreements.
