PROJECTS FUNDED BY THE CPCESU in 2007: Results of Our Annual Call for Proposals

Undergraduate and graduate NAU students from the Center for Sustainable Environments and the Departments of Geology and Geography currently participate in a study of the effects of an artificial flood release on ecosystems downstream of Glen Canyon dam and other geological studies along the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. This work is led by NAU principal investigators Rod Parnell, Joe Hazel, and Matt Kaplinski and is funded by the US Geological Survey, Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center, through the CPCESU.
