Please take 5 or 6 minutes to describe your organization, describe your primary focus on the Colorado Plateau, and mention highlights in your CPCESU activities (or for new members describe projects in your future).  PLEASE bring 25 copies of a one page description of your organization, contact information, and a longer list of projects that relate to the CPCESU.  We will not have time to hear everything so this list gives you a chance to highlight your expertise.  We may have a word from USDA Forest Service at this time.

3:30   Generating a CPCESU Theme

In this portion of the afternoon we will take time to think about possible themes that many of us can work on for the next 2-3 years.  This is a long term broad scale planning session that is big on unity across states, tribes, agencies, and organizations.  We will leave the details for later.  The goal is to match agency needs with research expertise.  A theme ought to engage a majority of the partners and may engage all partners.  The theme may stand alone or build on other regional projects by one or more federal agency, state, tribe or organization.  During this afternoon, we may outline ideas that require follow up contacts and meetings to clarify and solidify a theme for the next 2-3 years.  This session will require patience as we listen to wide range of ideas.
