98C Engineering Fabrication Shop
The Engineering Fabrication Shop in the College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences (Building 98C) is primarily a student shop. Our focus is on teaching students to run basic machine shop equipment in a safe environment. Once students complete safety training, they are allowed to utilize the shop.

February 20th 2014: New CNC Tormach Mill is in come check it out. The new Tormach even has an automatic tool changer!

September 2, 2013:The Student Fabrication Shop is officially open for the Fall Semester of 2013. Please see the hours tab for Fall Shop hours. Note that special times the shop will have limited acces due to the Manufacturing Lab (ME-467L).
April 29th 2013:The Student Fabrication Shop will close for the year at 6:00pm This Friday May 3. It will not be open this weekend or the week of Finals if you have any questions please contact Perry Wood at Perry.Wood@nau.edu.

Shop Will open at 9:00 am on Saturday January 26th and be CLOSED on Sunday January 27th, 2013 The shop will be open from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm on Saturday January 26th, and CLOSED on Sunday January 27th. The Shop will be on the scheduled posted under hours starting Monday January 28th.

January 16th, 2013: Enginneering Fabrication Shop will be getting a new CNC HAAS Lathe towards the end of January check back to see when it arrives and to come check it out.

The Shop will be closed Friday October 12th 2012 because the Shop Managers will be in Phoenix for training with the new HAAS 4-axis Vertical Mill.
