Pursue a career in engineering, mathematics, forestry, and the physical, earth, and life sciences, and learn that making a difference is not just a dream, but a reality. The College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences is training the next generation of engineers and scientists to meet and solve the growing challenges in natural resource management, medicine, science, and technology.
Our nationally ranked engineering program puts real industry models into practice by creating teams to work on actual business-driven projects. The Design4Practice curriculum will give you the tools to create and execute innovative ideas, like building high-mileage cars, human-powered vehicles, and remote control aircraft.
Forestry students have access to one of the finest facilities in the West, with numerous classes and research opportunities in the Centennial Forest—one of the largest university-managed forests in the United States.
Physical, earth, and life science undergraduates can participate in exciting research offered through a variety of labs and scholarship programs. Work closely with faculty mentors in our own labs, centers and institutes, and conduct research and field projects that will impact human health, and global and environmental issues.
