Featured Scholarship Opportunity

NACME Scholarship:

Funded by the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, Inc.

Amount: Up to $2,500 per Academic Year, depending on individual financial aid package.

Eligibility:

  • Must have US Citizenship or permanent residency status
  • Belong to one of the following underrepresented populations:
    • African-American
    • American Indian/Native American
    • Latino/Hispanic
  • In an undergraduate program
  • Must be a current or transfer NAU Student

Requirements:

  • Majoring in one of the following:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA (based on a 4.0 scale) as follows:
    • First year students: 2.5 GPA
    • Second and third year students: 2.6 GPA
    • Fourth year and continuing fifth year students: 2.8 GPA
  • Attend professional development workshops
  • Contribute a total of 6 hour of community service for the academic year

NACME Scholarship Recipients are eligible to receive up to five years of continuous funding--if all requirements are met each year.
