  • “Warhead Engineering: Detonation Physics – Not Rocket Science.” Presentation by Dr. Kim Christianson of Raytheon Missile Systems. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. 6-7pm. Engineering Building, Room 118. In this seminar, Dr. Christianson will present facts on explosives, an overview of warhead technologies used to defeat a wide range of threats, and warhead design and testing techniques.


  • CEFNS Dean's Forum. December 3, 2009. 10-11:30am. Science Lab Facility, North Campus, Patio and Lobby. Students, you are invited to stop and chat with our Dean, Dr. Paul Jagodzinksi and our student Ambassadors for CEFNS while you are in-between your classes.   • Louis Agassiz Price for Excellence in Writing Essay Contest

    Essay submissions due by Friday, January 22, 2010 career fair

    CEFNS is now accepting submissions for the Louis Agassiz Prize for Excellence in Writing.  This essay competition was established to encourage and reward outstanding writing skills by NAU undergraduate students.  The Louis Agassiz Prize is valued at $1500, with possible second ($1000) and third ($500) runner up prizes awarded, depending on the quality of entries received. Please visit our page for further details.
