Scholarship Opportunities for Graduates
A number of scholarships are awarded each spring to outstanding NAU students enrolled or entering a graduate program of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Each year the awards are announced during the Mathematics & Statistics Honors Week reception in April.
The following is a list of available scholarships and approximate award values which are subject to change each year.
The Arthur and Catharine B. Adel Scholarship (Mathematics Award)
Carlson Diekelman Rushall Schroeder Memorial Endowed ScholarshipEligibility: Outstanding incoming and/or continuing graduate student in Mathematics, Statistics, or Math Education.
Approximate Value: $1500 total for one or two scholarships
Eligibility: Graduate teaching assistant in Mathematics exhibiting excellence in the classroom as both a student and teacher.
Approximate Value: $500
There is no formal application process. All graduate students and teaching assistants are considered for these awards.
