Minor in Statistics

The minor program of the Bachelor of Science degree consists of 18 semester hours of statistics as listed below.  The minor is quite flexible and can be designed to be theoretical or applied in nature.  Careful selection of courses to be included in the program is thus mandatory and a program is to be planned under the guidance and with the approval of an advisor in the Mathematics and Statistics department.  The student should be aware that failure to consult with the minor advisor at least once each semester could result in a delay of completion of the program or loss of departmental recommendation.
