Advanced Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Laboratory

The CAD/CAM Lab is a combined instructional and research facility. Instructionally, it serves as support for the courses ME 381 - Advanced CAD/CAM, ME 467 – Manufacturing Processes, as well as support for the Senior Capstone Projects (ME 486C).  It also supports Student Intercollegiate Competition projects, associated with SAE, ASME, AIAA, and ASCE. The Lab location is in building 98C in close proximity to the Manufacturing Lab and Machine Shop and within walking distance from the main Engineering building. The lab includes computers with CAD/CAM software, as well as rapid prototyping equipment.
