Welcome to the NAU Construction Management Homepage at Northern Arizona University.
We hope you will take a few minutes to explore our website to get a feel for the educational opportunities and activities that the Construction Management program at Northern Arizona University has to offer.
Mission:
“To prepare students for professional careers in the construction industries.”
To provide a little perspective on our program, we have been around since the mid-1980’s providing a solid education to the students in our program. Our mission since our inception is “To prepare students for professional careers in construction.” To that purpose, our program focuses on the fundamentals of construction management that are applicable to all segments of the construction industry. This includes working with state of the art equipment in our recently renovated facility.
Currently there are about 250 students in our program and with relatively small class sizes; we have gained a reputation for being personally involved in seeing our students achieve their educational goals.
To add to our credentials, the Construction Management Program is accredited by the ACCE (American Council for Construction Education). We feel this is a validation of the commitment to our students to provide a quality educational experience that will allow our graduates to successfully compete in the construction industry job market.
Currently our faculty of six can boast of more than 150 years of individual experience ranging from hands-on trade work, to structural design for skyscrapers. Our diversity is our strength in that we have faculty with PhDs, Professional Engineering Licenses, Professional Constructor Certification, and LEED Accreditation all working toward the common goal of providing a quality educational experience to our students.
In addition to our Baccalaureate Degree, we also offer a Minor in Construction Management and a Web-based Master’s Degree in Construction Management.
Thank you again for visiting our Homepage. Please take our time and look around, and if you have any questions, please contact any of us. We would like to hear from you.
