Master of Science in Engineering

Recently the Arizona Board of Regents approved a Master of Science in Engineering Degree for NAU.  This program is a multi-disciplinary program, taking full advantage of existing CEFNS and NAU faculty expertise in recognized and developing areas of excellence.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is offering through this MSE a specialization in water and natural resources engineering, which addresses: supply and demand, quality and mitigation, treatment and distribution, management and utilization, and remediation of natural systems.  The MSE is a flexible thesis-based degree that is built upon the themes of sustainability and advanced engineering design while permitting specialization.   Graduates will understand water and natural resources within the context of innovation, application, and the built and natural environments.

Master of Engineering

Northern Arizona University in conjunction with Arizona State University, and the University of Arizona, offer a tri-university degree program: the Master of Engineering. The Master of Engineering is a graduate degree program that is intended to meet the educational needs of Arizona's practicing engineers. With input from industry professionals, the three universities have created (and are continuing to create) courses that address the enhancement and/or development of skills, knowledge, and understanding that are critical to today's practicing engineers. These courses are offered through a variety of forms, including distance-delivery methods and flexible formats.
