Environmental Engineering
Our environmental engineering program is one of only a handful of B. S. programs in the US that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET*. The program provides a broad foundation in air and water quality, pollution control and management, ecology, solid, hazardous and radioactive waste management, environmental regulations, toxicology and risk assessment and microbiological processes.

Job Prospects & Salaries
Employment in Civil Engineering is expected to grow, nationwide, between 2004 and 2014 by 9 to 17%. Likewise, Environmental Engineering is expected to grow even faster at about 27%. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average annual starting salaries for BS graduates in 2005 was $43,679 for civils and $47,384 for environmentals.
